Giving life to your illustrations sounds too much fun and yes it is mind-blowing. Recently I started doing a few animations and developed an interest to do more. The end result is what keeps me going seeing your hard work pays off.
This videos were done for a college assignment where we tried to play with the text itself as it being the spotlight of the video.

Lyrical video animation
Being a sweet, a love song -pink stands with both. Font used - Cassandra Personal Use as the song seems personal, like a journey of love.

This music animation was made keeping in mind the timing, playing with the font and expressing it more through text than illustrations.
